Introduction
Thinkroot Abacus, an academy dedicated to help unleash the hidden potential of children and thereby help build a promising tomorrow for the Nation. The use of abacus in mental arithmetic development increased the concentration of the child. Thinkroot steps into help young children pick up speed in working out arithmetic. This same structured program is available in several countries like UK, USA, Singapore, Japan , Malaysia and India. The children learn to work with time frames and time pressures, which eases the stress levels resulting out of deadlines in the higher classes initially and in life. Children in the age levels of 5 - 13 yrs work and compete together. Allowing them to work and compete together helps the children to face competition without any fear and helps them gear themselves to work under time related pressures.
Today's Child Problems
Attention, Focus and Concentration difficulties are the source of much aggravation for today parents, teachers and other children alike. The one thing you must have heard every parent tell you about their child is that it is extremely difficult to get them to focus on their studies.
So how do I know if my child is having attention and concentration difficulties, and what should I look for?
There are a number of behaviors that you might notice in your child, including:
- Inability to sit still
- Is easily distracted
- Has problems following instructions
- Has problems organizing themselves, or is constantly losing things
- Has difficulty completing school work
- Has poor handwriting compared to other children of the same age
